Restoration and rehabilitation of a 16th century Manor, with T. LEFER, Architect – Paris, France.
It made no doubt to the Community of La Ferté-Vidame to restore the existing building and put it back in its original shape by curetting the added parts while keeping the important and most interesting ones. This also gave the Community the opportunity to re-organize the piazza and give it the right spatial treatment.
Seven apartments are introduced in the main building, while 2 duplex townhouses are integrated in the old barn. The apartments benefit from a private courtyard at the back.
