The extension of this old house is independent from the existing structure. It houses all the functions requested by the Owners, including the services, and the parking that is provided on the roof of the added object while bridging the entrance to the road!

Our Solution

An integrated all-in-one solution perfectly integrated in its location, leaving the visual continuity of the view to the sea.
The proposed solution takes advantage from the morphology of the existing house to prop the L shaped structure sheltering the panoramic Master bedroom on its roof, and extending out over the added volume, as such tying the project together.
The new structure is intended in fair faced concrete to blend in seamlessly with the existing stone house. The sliding louvers are made of aged wood in both wings of the house giving the same sirit throughout the project.
The Main entrance is on the floor below the road level and features a double height glazed façade with outstanding views to the sea, which is preserved in all the spaces of the house.
